Chosen Solution Hello there! I have a problem with my current Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. I does not charge. I suspect that the charging port is the cause of the problem since I have had problems with it before. My question is how can I check whether the charging port is really broken or if the problem is somewhere else. The easiest way would be to buy a little USB Amp/Volt Meter and plug it into the wall and then your charger cable into that and it will let you know if the charger is drawing amps or not....

I have heard from good sources that its pins correspond directly to six out of the eight pins on a lightning connector. Any idea based on the wiring which pin is ground, which one is host power, etc? Chosen Solution I have an HKC model# P776A and if the charger is not in it will not boot up and when it is booted up you can take charger out but the battery drops fast. kitten28608 going with the symptoms you are describing, this is a bad battery. It does no longer hold a charge. Replace the battery and re-evaluate. If nothing else it will give you a known-good starting point for further troubleshooting....

Chosen Solution I know this issue is becoming common on 2017 models and Apple still does not want to admit that this issue occurred due to the design flaw same as the FlexGate issue. My questions here are What is the main reason for this common issue? Is there any solution for this issue rather than a screen replacement? If I changed the screen would it 100% fix the issue or is there a chance that it may appear again because when I went to AASP they told me that they are not sure even with a screen replacement the issue would gone so I may even also go for logic board replacement (so basically I’m spending for a new MacBook Pro to repair mine) NOTE : If I kept ignoring the issue, the lines not just become darker it even develops an image ghosting....
