Chosen Solution Hello everyone, SI have a problem and I hope that you can help me. Almost a year ago, I installed a “secret vault” app from the apple store. The app serves to store photos in a file disguised as a calculator and the photos in question are erased from the gallery after storage. I have photos of my girlfriend and me (my mother is against our relationship and often searches my phone for photos) :( Well, my problem is: I no longer need to hide my photos and I tried to export them all to my gallery but I was surprised to find that there is no option to export them at all, can only done one by one....

Chosen Solution Hi I have the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite (doesnt come up on the ifixit website) My Screen was working fine, then started flashing white, Then went completly white, then could see a very faint lock screen inside the white. Now it is black and nothing appears, not even faintly. Touchscreen still works as i can turn torch and bluetooth on from lockscreen. Ive already tried turning it on and off, force restart, tried putting it in rice incase of water damage....

It is single use, like a Kreige but without plastic waste, and the best coffee I have ever had. These coffee machines are only sold in Europe. I could get a transformer to step up the voltage from 110 to 220V, but I was wondering if the device internally lowered voltages like the power supply in my computer does....

Chosen Solution I dropped my iPhone 3G on cement and got the spider cracks emanating from one corner. The touch screen does not work, however when I plug it into a usb port, I get a totally white screen. Should I order JUST the screen replacement or the entire assembly? I do not want to replace the screen only to find out I have to remove it again and replace the digitizer as well, however, 70 bucks is 70 bucks…....

If you have bought the micro soldering kit that ifixit has to offer then I think this is the question for you. does it do a good job at getting things done? what are the pros and cons of buying the micro soldering kit? Hakko is what they sell here and is a good soldering station but if you want to get into doing this and are willing to spend the money buy a station with both soldering and hot air together ....

Chosen Solution Hi all I have an iPhone 6 Plus that I’m battling with (and losing badly), that has a charging issue. The phone recognises the charger and shows the charging symbol, but the battery does not charge and battery % does not change. The amp meter shows quite an unstable amp reading constantly changing and ranging from 0.25amps to 0.6amps. When the screen goes to standby/inactive the reading drops to almost zero amps....

Chosen Solution I have the Kenmore Elite Gas Dryer model number 110.74982300. The drum turns but no heat. All lint vents are clear of debris/lint. I have tested the Thermister (approx. 11K ohms), Thermal fuse (0 ohms), High limit Thermostat (0 ohms), Radiant sensor (0 ohms), Ignitor (0 ohms), Coils 1 to 2 1340 ohms, 1 to 3 549 ohms, 4 to 5 1289 ohms. All seem to be in the correct ranges....

I took my Mac for repair to apple centre and they changed MBP’s MLB twice under the quality program as it was a manufacturing defect as per them. Chosen Solution So, I recently replaced the screen on an iphone X and the phone reboots randomly and boot-loops when it does. Now I have noticed that when I apply pressure to the bottom it boots properly . Chosen Solution The bearings for the parts that hold the rear wheels have failed and I need help to identify the bearings so I can replace them. I believe they are thrust bearings with a 10mmx22mmx9mm but I don’t know for sure. Chosen Solution The buttons are too deep inside of the phone. I can’t press them. Anyone know what the problem could be? I did exactly as in the video(s). And even re-checked everything that could’ve been wrong. Any guesses? (Same goes for the power button). ~wanted to make a picture but wouldn’t really help because it comes out too blurry. Chosen Solution I reloaded Windows XP and the log on password reset and I can’t log on. I don’t have password reset disk either. Free solution. Press F11 button while powering up. Follow instructions for factory reset. Computer will be left in as new condition and all your files are gone but you can set a new password now. Chosen Solution I set a security password to my dell E6230 and i forget it. I have followed steps to follow when reseting pois password, removed CMOS battery and still its the same. So if anyOne Knows please help You need to pay someone on ebay for the master code. A simple battery disconnect won’t work. Its part of their security platform. So my Macbook Pro Mid 2010 has one of those faulty GPU chips and i can’t do anything but replace the complete motherboard, which is a mess, but there’s no other option (reballing is not one, i’ve read). I was wondering, tho. The only thing this motherboard has broken is the GPU chip, but the Core i7 2600 is working pretty well. Could i desolder it from the motherboard to use it somewhere else, like on a desktop motherboard (or sell it as used)?...

Chosen Solution Yesterday I tried putting the light on and may have touched something, but when I arrived home and tried to switch off the display it wasn’t turning off. 24hr later it’s still on … is there any reset or anything I can do? Solved, removing the battery and putting it back on did the trick
