I have successfully removed everything other than the screw right below tab 6, the vibrate button and the top screw holding in the volume up button. Chosen Solution I spilled something sticky on the bottom left side on the trackpad on my ASUS UX430U Notebook. The touch still works fine but it wont click in that area. Is this something i could clean by myself or should i contact a professional? And if I can clean it myself is there some guides to open it and not destroy anything? Chosen Solution Device was working one day fine. Powered off device for the evening; next day attempted to power on device to work and it did not work. Connected power supply for full 24-hours to possibly charge the battery and the device still would not power on. Chosen Solution I bought a new housing for a iPhone 6. However 1 square nut is missing for a Phillips screw fastening the power button. What is the dimension/type of this square nut? If it is missing, send it back and get a replacement, you can’t just put your own there, as your power button wouldn’t work correctly, it’s much easier getting a replacement.

The data on the NAND chip is encrypted and it is serial locked to the logic board. While you can change the serial number so that it matches the new logic board, this makes all of the data it contains unreadable....
Chosen Solution The answer to my question included disassembling. I’m not sure how to disassemble to access the keyboard. I have changed the battery but that is all. After you get to the keyboard, Here’s how to replace it, the 2010 & 2011 are close to the same so this should work for you. I use and electric screwdriver to take the screws out, this really speeds the replacement. Chosen Solution After turning on computer, and inserting a disk, the drive doesn’t engage and pull the disk in. Normally, you insert a disk and it gets grabbed by the drive and pulled down into the computer. Now, the “grabbing” part doesn’t happen. I can’t get the disk to stay in the computer. Don’t know if it just needs cleaning or the motor burned out. It kind of wore out.. it started to happen here and there over a year or so before it just stopped working all together....
